Liam G.B. Murphy is a graduate of Brown University in 1985 and New York University Law School in 1988.  He has been in the private practice of law for over fifteen years in large and small firms.  He now lives in Tompkins County with his wife and children.

 

Mr. Murphy is admitted to practice in New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware as well as the federal courts in each state.  He is the principal attorney of Ward & Murphy Law Firm, a Groton based law firm founded in 2000.  He has been Of Counsel to Shaw Law Firm since 2004.  He is admitted into the Tompkins, New York and American Bar Associations.

 

He has experience in complex cases in Civil Litigation.  He has recently concentrated on Family Law, Domestic Relations & Custody/Visitation and Support, Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation and Real Estate.

 

Mr. Murphy is active in the community and youth and education programs.
