Natanya DeWeese joined Shaw & Murphy in 2015. After graduating from Cornell Law School, Ms. DeWeese clerked for the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, Fourth Department in Rochester, New York. After her clerkship, Ms. DeWeese worked in private practice in Rochester before coming to Shaw & Murphy.

- Successful challenge of a college’s handling of a Title IX complaint against a male student finding that the college discriminated against the student
- Agreement through mediation that reduced the sanction imposed against a student and provided him with monetary compensation
- Other Student Misconduct, including hazing, possession of drugs & controlled substances, weapon possession, fake ID, providing false information to the university, trespass, theft, and violations of the Code of Academic Integrity
- Findings of Not Responsible for students accused of violating Code of Conduct, including charges of hazing, assault, and providing false information to the university, and Code of Academic Integrity violations
